BFP Specialty Presents
Pennsylvania Young Guns; First Appearance Feb. 24 At
Racing Legends Reunion & Car Show
BETHEL, PA - The
future is now on the Pennsylvania Dual-Track
circuit.
BFP Specialty, the official parts
supplier of Big Diamond Raceway in Forestville, Pa.,
and Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa., will
present the 'Pennsylvania Young Guns' to promote the
region's next generation of talent in 2010.
Through the efforts of BFP Specialty
proprietor Jason Bashore, 14 drivers have been
selected to be part of the Young Guns program,
featuring a mix of 358-Modified and Sportsman
competitors.
"There are so many good young drivers
out there right now," said Bashore, a noted dirt
Modified crew chief and chassis set-up expert who
opened BFP Specialty in 2008.
"We came up with the Pennsylvania
Young Guns to help promote the younger drivers as a
group and get them additional exposure throughout
the year."
The Young Guns drivers will be
featured on a custom autograph card designed by Joe
Adams Lettering LLC and will take part in
promotional appearances at tracks and events
throughout the upcoming season. A Young Guns T-shirt
is currently being produced by Bob Hilbert
Sportswear.
The first Young Guns appearance is
set for Wednesday night, Feb. 24 during the 25th
annual Racing Legends Reunion & Car Show presented
by Reading Eagle and WEEU 830 AM at the Fairgrounds
Square Mall (5th Street Highway - Reading, Pa.).
All 14 drivers are scheduled to be on
hand as part of the show's 'Modified Madness Night'
festivities at 7 p.m.
Future appearances are in the working
stages.
At season's end, the top BFP
Specialty Young Guns driver in the NASCAR Whelen
All-American Series 358-Modified standings at
Grandview and 358-Modified standings at Big Diamond
will receive a cash award through the support of the
program's sponsors.
